We're proud of this great design engineered here at Duncraft after years of bird feeding experience. Field-testing proved that the open wire base prevents seed build-up so that squirrels have no incentive to "hang on" as they look for tasty leftovers.
We have perfected the distance between the seed tube and Havenguard™ fencing to deter gray squirrels, grackles and starlings from reaching the food.
All-metal ports, cap and roof prevent squirrel damage. With no squirrels hanging from the feeder, birds will perch and enjoy feasting, just as intended!
